We are going to Universal later today so Jake decided to help dad mow the jungle in the backyard! Here are some action shots. He does good work!

Vacation Bible School

Yesterday the kids finished a week of Vacation Bible School. Lindsay and Andy were crew leaders and Jake was a participant. Unfortunately, Andy wound up with the stomach flu Thursday night and couldn't attend on Friday. Here's a picture of Lindsay, Jake and Jake's friend Nick on Friday.

On Thursday our Youth Group Hangout Day was at the Orlando Science Center. We saw lots of cool things, but the best was the Titanic exhiibt. They have lots of neat things from the ship as well as re-creations of the cabins, the grand staircase, the deck. There was a gentleman who told all about the night the ship sank - it was very interesting!

Scary Night

Wednesday night we went to Bible Study. On the way out, Andy - Accident Prone, Often in the E.R. Andy - had one of the those gross Starlight mints in his mouth. We get to the car and he says it's stuck and then he can't talk or breathe anymore. That CPR training paid off.! It took a few times doing the Heimlich maneuver but finally it came flying out. It was very scary after the fact - we were both shaking - and Andy is no longer allowed to eat hard candy! God was with both of us and we are so thankful.

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!

Friday was our last day of school! Now we have two high schoolers and a Red Bug Senior. Here we are at the summer kickoff party for Youth Group.

Hilarity

This week we said good-bye to our Assistant Principal who has been transferred to another school. In her honor, we re-wrote the always popular "Midnight Train to Georgia" and performed it at her luncheon. Here's a picture of "The Fairy Godmother and the PMP's"!
