New Family Member

We added a new member to our family in December - Fritz! He turned 5 on Christmas Eve and we are so happy he joined us!

More Birthday Celebrations

On my birthday we went to Brunch at Mission Inn with Dad, Pat and Uncle Bill where we spent hours grazing on the delicious food in preparations for the upcoming holidays!

Mom's 35th Birthday

The school year turned out to be a crazy one and I guess I was so exhausted at the end of the day (and all weekend) that we didn't take too many pictures! We did take some on my birthday - okay, maybe it wasn't my 35th.....

Dunk for Downs

Last week our school held "Dunk for Downs" to raise money for the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida. The children brought in a dollar for the chance to dunk their teacher. I was amazed at the arms my students had - most of them had fantastic aim. Over $1200.00 was raised and will be given in Emerson's honor at the Buddy Walk next week.

Super Cute New Classroom!

It's amazing how all the folks I work with manage to turn a pile of furniture and boxes in the center of the room into this in less than two weeks! School starts Monday and I LOVE my new classroom (and kids!)

Old Building/New Portable!

Today we went to check out Mom's new portable and it was wonderful! Much bigger than we thought before and lots of windows! That's going to be a nice change:) Lindsay stuck the camera in the old building as we were walking out and snapped some shots of just a big huge opening - the walls are all down!

Our elementary school is going to be gutted and totally remodeled over the next year. Today Mrs. Gainer and her three alumni attended a "Good-bye" pizza party to say farewell to our wonderful school with so many wonderful memories! I can't wait to see the new building when it is finished - and my co-workers and I are looking forward to the next year in our fantastic portables!

Lindsay's New Friend

Lindsay has a friend whose job it is to take care of some horses that are boarded near our house. They've been hanging out each day after Driver's Ed taking care of and riding the horses. Here is a picture of Lindsay and two of her new friends!

Happy Father's Day

We had a wonderful Father's Day. Daddy played a round of golf, Grandpa came to have dinner with us and we ended the day in our giant jacuzzi! It's not really a jacuzzi, just the temperature of one these days - nice and warm!

Jake's Fifth Grade Graduation

Jake graduated from Fifth Grade yesterday - how fast those 6 years went! He was especially honored to receive the Presidential Award of Excellence. We are so very proud of him! Mommy is going to miss him next year. Booo Hooo!

Red Bug Babies!

The 2nd grade teachers met for a pool party today to see how all of our babies are growing! And they are growing and getting cuter by the day - Thanks KK for a fun afternoon!

Fr. Sean's 50th

One of our favorite people in the whole world, Fr. Sean, was honored yesterday at the Chrism Mass by Bishop Wenski for 50 years of service as a priest. He married us, baptized all three children, and was there for each child's First Reconciliation and First Communion. He was also tortured by me for 19 years as my boss! He is truly one of God's gifts and we are blessed to have him in our lives! Congratulations Fr. Sean!

Lacrosse Season is Over!

Lindsay's first lacrosse season is over and she loved every minute of it! What a great game and a great group of girls. The plus side is now Mom has one less concession stand to work at.....

Kiley Visit

We went to visit Baby Kiley today after church - she gets cuter and cuter each time we see her! Of course, so do Kristan and Stephen:)

FSU/UCF Lacrosse Game

We went to see the men's teams from UCF and FSU play one another last night at UCF. It was a fun night and the Seminoles won the game, 13-7. Thanks for joining us Megan, Mary and Hope! Go Noles:)

New Glasses

Lindsay just got a new pair of glasses to make her look smart. Well, that's not really why she got them, it's just a side effect! The roads are a little safer now:)

Opening Day!

Today was Opening Day at Goldenrod Little League - a first for Jake who's been playing in Casselberry for the last couple of seasons. Anyway, it was a long, but fun (and beautiful) day at the ballpark.

Mardi Gras!

One of the best things about season passes to Universal is that we get to go to Mardi Gras! We went this weekend to see Ne-Yo (David and I recongnized the songs, but never heard of him) and had tons of fun with Andy's girlfriend Hope and Lindsay's best friend Cassie. Next week, it's our turn - we're seeing Pat Benatar!
